Lady Veronica Blackwood held an unusual party before lior marriage to Mr. Anthony Hornby. She invited. a party of friends to ride with her in Rotten Row Hyde Park, and then join her later at a wedding breakfast at her mother’s house, before the marriage. Lady Veronica arranged for the party to meet at 7.30 a.m., and after the canter they attended breakfast at 9 a.m. The bride’s grandmother, tho Dowager Marchioness of Duffer-in and Ava, was unable to be present at the .wedding festivities, so the bride and bridegroom visited her in their wedding attire after the ceremony.
