Universal will complete a cycle of creepy, shivery thrill dramas with Robert Louis Stevenson’s “The Suicide Club.” This is the fourth story in the cycle. Arrangements have been perfected with the heirs of Robert Louis Stevenson for the world rights. Tho first was “Dracula,” the second “Frankenstein,” with a cast including Colin Clive, Mae Clarke, John Boles and Boris Karloff, Edward Van Sloan, Dwight Frye and Frederick Kerr. It was directed by James Whale. The third in the series is “Murders in the Rue Morgue.” This mysterious tale by Edgar Allan Poe includes in its cast Bela Lugosi, Sidney Fox, Leon Adams, Brandon Hurst, Bert Roach, Betsy Ross Clarke, Noble Johnson, D’Arcy Corrigan, Folly Ann Young and John T, Murray.
