Land and Income Tax (Annual) Act, 1931. 1N COME-TAX PAY ABLE. DY Order in Council, made and issued by His Excellency the GovernorGeneral in Council on tlio 191 li. day of October, .193.1, under the authority of the above Act, it was determined that the duty by way of Income-tax, leviable under section 3 of the said Act, should be paid in one sum on Tuesday, the 9th. day of February, 1932, at the office of the Contmisisoner of Taxes, Government Buildings, Wellington; and, in accordance with such Order in Council, I hereby give notice that the said duty will be payable accordingly. Additional tax will accrue if the tax is not paid on or before Ist. March, 1902. The liability to pay is not suspended by any objection. The tax should be paid on or before the prescribed date, otherwise the additional percentage accrues; any overpayment will bo adjusted by refund. The demands will be posted irom the office of the Commissioner of Taxes on or about 2nd. February, 1932. Demands must be prerented with all payments, and taxpayers who expect a demand and do not receive one should notify me of the fact. E. J. E. GUMMING, Commissioner of Taxes.
