Notes of the Day
Tho boisterous galo which visited Feilding on Sunday did a great deal of minor damage to gardens, plant lil'o yesterday morning bearing clear evidence of having been subjected to a strenuous buffeting. Orchardists also suffered through fruit being shaken down, and while no major damage resulted, the visitation was extremely unpleasant. Yesterday was calmer, although a fresh breeze prevailed throughout, the day. Mr. L. J. Verry, of Warkwortb, 'North Auckland, and one time of Kinibolton, Was a, visitor to Feilding yesterday in the course of a holiday tour. Mr, G. N. Boss, of the Palmerston North Court staff, is on relieving duty at tho Feilding Court during the absence on. holiday of Mr, G. 33. Pollock.
Tho first stock salo in Feilding for the new year will be held on Friday next'.
