Revolt in Austria

ACQUITTAL OP FASCISTS A SHORT-LIVED RISING VIENNA, Dec. 25. Dr. Pfrimer and six others who took part in the Heimwehr (Fascist) rising of September 13 were unanimously acquitted by a jury at Graz of charges of high treason. In his address to the jury the Public Prosecutor described tho rising as unparalleled in Austria’s history since the rising of 1848. Pfrjmcr’s attempt to secure a new constitution was high treason, based on lies and deceit. A short-lived revolt broko out at 3 a.in. on September 13 in the province of Styria (Upper Silesia). Twenty-one towns wero seized and a Fascist dictatorship proclaimed. Government troops were dispatched immediately to the area and the Fascists wero disarmed after a few shots liad been fired. Many persons were arrested, including Dr. Pfrimer.
