Many members and their friends attended the Bunnythorpo Women’s Institute picnic, held.' at Johnson park on Wednesday last, when a very enjoyable time was spent by everyone. After lunch the young people played rounders, and bathing enthusiasts were not longout. .of.the water. Later in the afternoon both young and old joined in the •races, which resulted as follows: Ladies’ walking race, Mrs. Burrell; young ladies’ race, Miss U. Powell; ladies’ mountaineering race, Miss G. Burrell; men’s race, Mr. O'Donnell; men's mountaineering race, Mr. J. Powell; instituto handicap, Mrs. Powell;'children’s races, N. Leggo and J. O’Regan. Swings and slides concluded a very happy picnic.
