The Council of the Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday reelected Mr M. H. Oram president for tho ensuing year. In moving Mr Oram’s re-appointment, Mr W. H. Brown said that, during his occupation of the presidential chair, Mr Oram had brought the chamber from a self-elected body to ono elected by popular vote.
