Phar Lap Unlikely to Make Visit to America

TRAINER-OWNER’S DIVERSE INTERESTS. United Press Association.—By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Friday, 9.15 p.m. SYDNEY, bept. IS. Mr. Davis, part-owner of Phar Lap, says he talked with American sportsmen during his recent visit to the United States and he believed that meetings could be arranged for the horse there. Mr. Telford/however, the other owner, is so occupied with his interests in Melbourne that, as he is unwilling to permit Phar Lap to run except under his personal supervision, it is practically certain that there is no chance of the horse going to America.
