War Debts Due to and Owing by Great Britain

In a Parliamentary answer on war debts the Chancellor of tho Exchequer (M- Philip Snowden) stated that t-hc net was debt due to Britain by Italy at the signing of the funding ment was £,160,000,000. The amount received since the war was £23,000,000, and there was to be received undei the agreement £234,550,000. _ _ The war debt duo to Britain b) France at the signing of tho funding agreement was £600,000,000 and the amount received since tho war was £43 625,000. Tho total to be received under the agreement was £799,500,000. The total owing by Britain to t.ic United States at the signing of the funding agreement was 4,600,000,000 dollars The amount paid since the war was 1,351,720,000, and the aggregate amount to be paid under the agreement to the completion of the payments was 11,105,963,000 dollars.
