Representative Rugby Football

The Manawhenua representative team is engaged with Wanganui on Saturday next. It will be remembered that Wanganui defeated the Hawke’s Bay team only a week or so ago and by reports from the River city, they are a combination to bo reckoned with. This game is always full of bright football and will bo well worth witnessing. Our local team has been showing marked improvement in their football of late and have put up sterling games in their last two matches.

There will be a curtain raiser to the big game between the Palmerston North High School first fifteen and the Palmerston North Old Boys “B” team. As these two teams play a fast open game the match should be worth seeing.
