HUGE DROP IN EXPORTS AND IMPORTS.

United Press Association.—By Electric T elegraph .—Copyright. Received Monday, 9,30 p.m. WASHINGTON, Aug. 23. The final analysis of foreign trade during the year ended June 30, 1031, issued hy the Department of Commerce to-day showed that the exports totalled 3,084,000,000 dollars, a decrease of 34 per cent. Imports totalled 2,432,000,000 dollars, a decrease cf 37 per cent. Exports to Oceana totalled 64,0000,000 dollars, a decrease of 96,000,000 dollars. Exports to Australia showed a decrease of 64 per cent., while exports to New Zealand showed a decrease cf 47 per cent. Exports cf automobiles to Australia were valued at only 2,000,000 dollars.
