There is a "warfare” of correspondence passing between the Wanganui Education Board and interested parties as to the correct spelling of the name "Hikumutu.” At this week's meeting it was left to the chairman to settle all doubts on tho matter by appealing to a Maori. Doubtless, when Mr Collins next reports to his board ho will have a long and interesting story to relate that will not only give the correct spelling of the word, but will bring with it iefiardaia charm. ’ ■
