After the matter' had been discussed it was decided to solicit .dpnations of seeds, which will be given only to genuine unemployed. The committee desires it to be known'that all such' donations may'be left'at the-depot'in Main street and; will be thankfully received.' A' .very ■ smart performance was put up by the - motor- vessel Kotiti on her run from'Fovi on to Wellington on Tuesday. The vessel cleared the Manawatu bar in" a heavy sea at .12.45 p.m. and lied up' at a Wellington ,whart at 9.4 U
the same evening, having accomplished the passage in eight hours 55 minutes.
