Invercargill Wants Restoration Poll
BOMBARDING M.P.’S WITH TELEGRAMS. Per Press Association. INVERCARGILL, Last Night. At a meeting of the executive of the Invercargill Restoration and Progress League this evening it was decided to make strong representations to the Government to have a restoration poll taken in Invercargill this year. Telegrams have been despatched to every member of Parliament acquainting them of the position in Invercargill. The league has offered to guarantee the expenses of taking the option poll in the event of tho national issue being postponed.
