HUBBARD BANNER MATCH.
The annual contest for the Hubbard Banner between standards I. and If. of Central school, will be played at the Showgrounds this afternoon, weather permitting. The following teams have been selected to do battle for tho respective standards:— Standard I. Hookers, J. Carr and J. Ridley (vicecaptain); lock, Manderson (captain); breakaways, B. Buckeridgo and J. Yule; back rank, N. McKinnon and A. Parton; wing-forward, G. Scott; half, A. Cliff; five-eighths, E. Steer and W. M.cConaghty; three-quarters, B. Reeves, L. Jensen and N. Dingwell; full back, 11. Steer. Emergency, H, Dear. Standard 11. Forwards, Raynor, Rogers, Barringer, Garden, Ayres, Eabono, Muggcridge, Mabcy; hall’, Wass; five-eighths, Fitzgerald, Dingwall; three-quarters, Pratt, Hastings, Gordon; full back, Wilby. Emergency, Waters. Mr. W. Franks donates tho oranges for half time, and tho dinner at the end of the match is supplied by the parents of tho scholars of standards I. and 11.
