At about 2.30 p.m. yesterday an accident occurred on the main Napier road near the Ashhurst bridge, when a motor cycle driven by Mr. M. Davidson, of Dannevirke. with Miss C. Evans, a nurse at the Dannevirke public hospital, left the road and The mishap was caused by a blow-out in the roar tyre. Mr. Davidson escaped injury, but Miss Evans was conveyed to the Dannevirke hospital suffering from slight concussion.
