SUCCESSFUL PING-PONG AND FLAG 500 EVENING From Our Own Correspondent. On Wednesday evening at the homo of Mr and Mrs Haythorne, tho fifth series of Flag 500 and ping-pong took place. About 40 people braved the elements and spent a most happy and enjoyable time, the -winning table being Miss Sims, Mr E. Jenkins and Mr T. Morgan; consolation, Mrs Ritchie, Miss E. Ritchie and Mr Hewison. Winners at ping-pong were Mr G. Ritchie and Miss M. Ritchie. Those present included Mesdames Edney, Ritchie, S. Beard, Hewison, Haythorne, R. Beard, Searle, Meads, Misses Sims, Caulder, Collie, Brown, Jenkins, Malcolm, Ritchie (2), Morgan, de Maneer, Messrs Stanley, Hewison, Edney, Haythorne, Brown, Ritchie (2), Turner, Say well, Beard, Ireland, Munro, Morgan, Jenkins, Searle. -- ■
