Concert Sunday Night
OPERA HOUSE. The Sunday night concerts already held in aid of tho funds of the Central Relief Committee have been well patronised but the attractive programme to be presented by St. Andrew’s Churcn Choir to-morrow night at tho Opera House promises to be a bigger magnet than any. Tho choir will contribute three anthems and a hymn. Mcsdames Heggie, D. Niven, J. IC. Paton and Miss Loxie McDonald will be the lady vocalists. Other vocal soloists will be Mr. Blair Tennant, and Mr. H. N. MeEwen. Miss Elvira Wycherley, a 'cellist of Dominion reputation, will contribute a 'cello solo. Miss Wycherley is a Palmerstonian isftto has made wonderful progress in her musical studies and the opportunity to hear her should not be missed. Miss Saunders will be heard in a monologue and hero agan is an artist of merit. An instrumental trio played by Mrs. B. S. Law (violin), Miss Wood ('cello), and Mrs. J. lv. Paton (piano) is bound to be a popular number. It only remains for the public to attend in force to make the concert a great success and incidentally assist the distressed people in our midst by means of a silver coin collection which will bo made at the doors.
