Ten Tons of Gunpowder Explode
THIRTY KILLED IN MACAO. United Press Association.—By Electrio Telegraph. —Copyright. Received Friday, 9.50 p.m. HONG KONG, Aug. 14. When feu tons of gunpowder blew up in a Portuguese military magazine at Macao yesterday, great havoc was wrought among the houses over a wide area. It was revealed to-day that over thirty wpre killed, including Portuguese, Chinese and African soldiery, while several hundreds were injured. The troops Hooded the bigger magazines preventing an even greater disaster.
