DEFINITE MOVE AGAINST SYDNEY United Press Association. —By Elcctrio Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Friday, Midnight. SYDNEY, Aug. 14. The active country movement, which, aims at constitutional reform and the creation of new Federal units within New South Wales received a decided impetus to-day when delegates from all parts of tho country at a .conference in Sydney reached an agreement for. the formation of a “United Country Party,” whose platform, will seek it subdivision of this State into ne w .Federal units giving increased representation ju Parliament; tariff reform; improved transport; reduction of costs and taxation; review of Arbitration laws and suppression of Communism. The whole policy will be directed towards the betterment and. development of the country .reus. The new organisation absorbs the Country Political Party.
