Aids For Housewife
Housekeeping is greatly facilitated by the use of household inventions. There is, for example, the heavy rubber pad which enables the home-maker to clamp a food-chopper :or clothes wringer to tho edge of a porcelaine surface. Thero arc also light chains which will hold a dish steady if they a»re attached on either side of the dish and clamped to the table. Thus eggs may be whipped and other tasks performed easily wllich necessitate the use of both hands. Still another pair of clamps seem to have been designed with the small baby in mind. They are attached to both sides of the table and since they hold the tablecloth firmly in place, the child is prevented from pulling it to tho floor in the mother’s absence.
