Lindbergh’s Progress VANCOUVER, Aug. 2. Lindbergh, who left Ottawa on Saturday morning, arrived at Moose Factory, Ontario, yesterday, and hopped off at ten o’clock this morning for Fort Churchill.
Robbins and Jones OFF TO JAPAN VIA ALASKA. SEATTLE, Aug. 2. R. L. Robbins and H. S. Jones, flying the monoplane Fort Worth, hopped off at seven o’clock this morning on a non-stop flight to Tokio. Their plan is to refuel in the air at Fairbanks, Alaska.
Refuelled in Mid-air Received Monday, 9.30 p.m. NEW YORK, Aug. 2. A message from Fairbanks, Alaska, states that the Fort Worth arrived over Fairbanks on Sunday at six p.m. It took on 200 gallons of fuel and then proceeded westward while the refuelling ’plane landed for more “gas” and prepared to follow and accompany the Fort Worth to the Berhing Sea.
Round-the-World Fliers PANGHORN AND HERNDON IN SIBERIA. MOSCOW, Aug. 2. Panghorn and Herndon, who flew across the Atlantic, have landed at Ghita from Omsk.
Chichester Again on the Wing Received Tuesday, 2.0 am. MANILA, Aug. 3. Chichester took off for Aparri about 1 o’clock this afternoon after floating in the bay for four hours waiting for enough wind to help him to rise with a full load of gasoline.
