Remarkable Flower Garden

Using only a knife, saw and paintbrush, a Winnipeg workman had the spare time in two years to make a wooden flower garden in a thirteen-foot plot of ground. He has not only gilded the lily, but has painted every other blossom as well. Flowers, vegetables, fruits birds and miniature houses are arranged in the plot, all mado of wood and painted in natural colours. The flower beds contain pansies, geraniums, poppies, tulips and primroses. Bright-hued, wooden butterflies are found about the garden, and there is even a wooden caterpillar. Paths and driveways lead to two miniature houses. There are wooden birds in colours, one ■with a wooden worm, and these miniatures and a bird bath attract many real birds.
