Many Missing Animals
In the course of an article in Iho Quarterly Review, Mr C.| K. Haines says that there is no reason why the sea serpent should not bo a reality. Ho records that in 1921 a huge mammal weighing 15 tons, nob unlike an enormous elephant in some respects, was washed ashore at Capo Way. Various roportod animals have still to bo discovered and Classified. Kenya has a huge, unknown annual whose footprints show three toes. Zululand used to have a lizard that made a track as wide as a road. There is said to be a 50ft snake in the Upper A lie region. Mr Haines reminds Ins readers that the identification of the Okapi and of tho dragon lizard of Java was comparatively recent.
