Children Spend Happy Honrs at Parly

About 320 children gathered at the Takaro church hall on Friday evening, when a most enjoyable time was spent in games, action songs, dancing and community singing from 7 p.m. to After partaking of supper, the gathering terminated with the singing of “Auld Lang Syne’’ and the National Anthem, A violin duet by Misses Gwen Wilkins and Denson, an action song by Yvonne Davoux, and a song by Joan Wollerman were heartily applauded. The music was supplied by Mesdames Bigliam, Wollerman and Barkwith. Old-time dancing occupied the (adults for the rest of the evening.
