Associated Live Stock Auctioneers, Ltd., report on Feilding sale on Friday, July 31, as below: A- fair entry of fat sheep came to hand,' including' somo pens" of ; prime heavy ewes and wethers and generally prices showed an upward tendency, and tho few fat lambs offered met'a keen inquiry.
Store sheep were not heavily sented, and with a sustained demand almost a total 'clearance was effected, ewes in Jamb to Southdown rams-and wethers showing a slight advance.
Tlicro was a decided increase in numbers in. fat cattle and theso met with a ready sale at prices ahead of those which have been previously ruling. ;
Store cattlo of which there was a moderate yarding, were in demand and a rather, better tone prevailed. An exceptionally large entry of all classes of dairy cattle was offered to a good, attendance, and. buyers were operating freely on cows and heifers showing quality and close to prolit, while backward and inferior sorts were again neglected. ■ Quotations: — '
