CHOCOLATE-BOX GIRL ROMANCE.

When Mr. George Churchman, a young Nottingham student, camo across the picture of a fascinating blonde on the lid. of a chocolate box, ho decided forthwith that he must find the original. It seemed a hopeless passion. Tho picture might only have been an artist’s conception of a type. On the other hand, if tho original existed, she might be happily married. Mr. Churchman decided to put his luck to the test. “I wrote to the manufacturers asking if they knew the name of the original;’ ’ he told an interviewer. “They replied saying that they did not, but gave me the name of the artist, an Austrian living in Vienna. I promptly wrote to him asking if ho could help me.” A week later Mr. Churchman had the name of the chocolate box beauty. It, was Fraulein Sonia Eichberg, a trventy-year-old German mannequin, who acts as a model in her spare time. Post-haste went a plea to Berlin in which Mr. Churchman told tho story of his romantic quest, and asked if Fraulein Sonia would correspondent with him with a vew to a meeting. Fraulen Sonia not only would, but did. A w r eek later Mr. Churchman got a letter from her saying that she had always wanted to learn English, and welcomed the opportunity of corresponding with a young Englishman.
