Dangerous Situation in Bengal

A Bengal Government proclamation states that owing to the dangerous ana disturbed state of certain districts in Chittangong and the conduct of the inhabitants, additional police will fie quartered in 52 villages at the cost of the inhabitants. A number of houses were raided by the police and several arrests were made. The curfew order, night patrols and other precautionary measures arc being continued.
