FAVOURITE CAIRN TERRIER. LONDON, April 24. King George’s pet Cairn terrier Snip is dead. He is believed to have been choked by a feather while chasing pigeons in the Palace Gardens. Snip has been buried in a secluded corner of the Sandringham Gardens among Royal pets. Snip was a birthday gift from Princess Mary. Unusually sagacious and lovable, he was the King’s constaut companion for seven years, even accompanying him on train and motor journeys.
