Japanese Premier Collapses
UNDER OPPOSITION’S PIERCE HECKLING.
United Press Association. —By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Sunday, 7 p.m. TOKIO, April 4.
Count Hamaguchi, Japanese Premier, attended the Diet during the last few days despite his weakness following on his attempted assassination in November. The Opposition heckled him severely, having no mercy because they argued that the Premier’s resignation would break up the Ministry. Hence they objected to an invalid continuing to bold office. Count Hamaguchi no longer borne up by his iron determination collapsed and to-day the doctors declared a further operation was necessary. A Successful Operation Received Monday, 1 a.m. TOKYO, April 5. Count Hamaguchi has been operated on and is progressing satisfactorily.
