Ladies’ Hockey
ANNUAL MEETING OF O. AND
C.’S CLUB.
The annual meeting of C. and C.’s Hockey Club was held last evening, when there was a large attendance of players. Mr. F. T. Yasey occupied the chair.
The report disclosed that the members of the club had been very enthusiastic both on and off the field. The younger players showed keenness and improvement, and although the club was not successful in winning any of the championships useful preliminary work was put in which should bear fruit this next season.
Members of the club rendered great assistance on the social side and rallied well in assisting to raise funds from time to time as required. The club dance was a marked success and it is hoped that it will be repeated. Members of the club were called upon from time to time to represent Manawatu in representative matches and carried the colours with honour.
