Pongaroa Women's Institute

At tho February meeting of the Pongaroa W.I. it was decided to hold a bring and buy sale for the benelit of institute members in the earthquako area. Miss Pickett's and Mrs. H. Herbert's programme included a very interesting demonstration on various kinds of raffia work, and a competition in which the jumbled names of towns had to be "uessed. Miss E. Kent contributed a recitation, "I Want to Go with Daddy." Tho hostesses for tho meeting were Mrs. F. Kent and the Misses B. and E. Kent. Soveral visitors wero present.
