Evening Wedding Celebrated at Mangaweka
ANNISON—GRAHAM. Tire ■ wedding took place on. Wednesday evening, January 2S, at St. Marti u ’3 Church, Mangaweka, of Marjorie, elder daughter of Mr and Mrs. M. Graham,-of'Mangaweka, and Wallace Arthur, eldest son of Mr and Mrs. A. J. Annison, of Auckland. The Rev. W. Langston Officiated. The bride made a dainty picture as she walked up the aisle escorted by her father, m a frock of white satin beaute. The bodice was tight fitting and finished with a brilliant ornament, and the fully flared skirt reached to the ground, lho embroidered veil was worn with a coronet of orange blossoms and she carried a shower bouquet of white lilies, pink shaded carnations, and maiden-hair f °The bridesmaid, Miss Kathleen Graham, sister of the bride wore a frock of lemon marietta. The bodice was fashioned bolero effect, and the full-, lcno-th skirt had inset. panels of silk not° with small velvet flowers shading from light to dark pink. She wore a nalo nink crinoline hat trimmed trimmed with lemon flowers and her bouauct was composed of flowers in autumn tints. Tho little flower girl was Lesley Graham, cousin of the bride, w lio wore a long frock of pale pink not trimmed with pink ribbon, pink ribbon head-dress, and carried a basket Oi pale pink flowers. Mr R. A. Robbie, of Foxton, was best man. The reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Mrs. Graham received her guests wearing a frock of black silk, trimmed with biegc, a black silk coat and black hat. For going away, the bride eliosc a navy silk moroeain three-piece suit and navy hat to tone.
