MEETING- OF DIRECTORS. A meeting of the directors of the Manawatu Co-operative Building Society was held on Tuesday evening there being present: Messrs. J. j, O’Shea (chairman), W. E. Ward, G. B Cope and W. Newlands, An apology for absence was received from Mr. G. D. Pattle. Loans as follow were finally ap-proved:—-Group 1, £550; Group 2, £500; Group 3, £7OO and £275; Group 4, £500; Group 5, £6OO, and Group 6, £4OO. It was decided to hold appropriations by ballot in Groups 1,2 and son February 26.
