Heavy Rain and Warmer Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. An anti-cyclone cast of New Zealand has intensified somwhat. Slight cyclones have been control to-day west of Auckland peninsula and off the south-east coast of Otago respectively, while the pressure is also low between southern and south-eastern Australia. Winds: Variable to strong northerly to westerly prevailing, increasing from Cook Strait southwards. Seas (New Zealand waters): Rather rough generally in New Zealand waters. Tamsan Sea: Moderate north to west wind, in tho eastern Tamsan Sea with moderate seas in the northern portion, rather rough in the southern. Weather: Unsettled, dull and misty; rain in most districts with some heavy falls in the North Island; mild temperatures.
