Trouble •on Sydney Wharf PERSUADED BACK ON BOARD Received Sunday, 9.50 p.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 21. The banned Italians aboard the liners Orford and Otranto created a disturbance at Woolloomooloo wharf before sailing time yesterday. A large number defying the guards broke ship and reached the wharf, but the police and officials managed to stem tho rush, and prevent escape from the wharf precincts. Pin ally the Orford 7 s captain managed to persuade tho discontented immigrants to re-embark. They were concerned about their landing money of £-10 apiece which the captain told them must remain in the ship’s custody till they returned.
