Air Leslie Bramwell, of Fcilding, who is on a business visit to England, expects to leave for New Zealand about tho middle of January. His many friends will hear 'with regret of the death of an old and respected resident of Fcilding in tho person of Ah- John William Shaw, of 2(J Derby street, Fcilding, which occurred in the Palmerston North hospital on Saturday. The late Ah- Shaw was an employee of the Feilding Sash and Door Company, and had earned the esteem of all with whom he had come in contact during the many years he had resided iu Feilding. He leaves a widow, two sons and three daughters To mourn their loss. The funeral takes place this afternoon.
