The contractors of Messrs. Alexander Clark Ltd., have just completed the new and up-to-date wallpaper showrooms and art gallery, in litzhcrbcit avenue, and yesterday afternoon . a ■function was held to mark the opening of-this latest addition to Palmerston's business architecture. Hie spacious, artistic and wcll-Jittcd rooms were greatly admired by those present, wno included Mr. R, T. laggard, the architect, and Mr. W. Howes, representing the contractors, F. Needham Ltd. The new building is of two storeys with a frontage of SO feel. 'liic wallpaper showroom lias no less a space than 54ft. x 48ft, and is particularly web lighted with plate glass windows and leafllights of choice design. r Jhe public arc invited to call and inspect the premises, and to mark the occasion, framed and untrained pictutes are being sold at a reduction *.f 25 per cent., English wallpapers and artists' materials 10 per cent., and last but not least ,thc linn’s special paint offer to supply sufficient material :a English paint and brushes to paint a six-roomed house complete for the sum of £7/17/6. —Alexander Clark, Ltd..
