POLITICAL DEADLOCK INCREASING

The Times correspondent at Madrid states that the situation is rapidly improving. Workers aro resuming in many towns. Four more military judges have been appointed to deal with the Guatrovientos rebels. A special judge opens the case against the arrested members of the Republican directorate, ono of whom, Lorroux, is suffering from anthrax.
The political leaders urge that an elective constituent Assembly bo invested with a mandate to dccido the form of Government which th nation desires.
The monarchists most strongly wish to avoid this and for this reason the election deadlock is increasing. The casualties in the recent insurrection number 11 killed, SO injured, and 500 imprisoned.
