Mercedes Gleitze Plans Endurance Test

WILL SWIM OLD YEAR OUT.

WELLINGTON, Dee. 19.

Miss Gleite proposes to boat her endurance swimming record of 42 hours, established in Dublin, at the Boys Institute baths. Starting on December 31, she will swim the old year out and the New Year in.

No further plans have been made for the Cook Strait swim, but on Christmas Day she will go out with a boatman to consider, a possible starting point.
