Woman as An Iron Worker
The working of woman of France fgradually working her way into fields before reserved exclusively for men. Mdlle. Viaua Mabine, who has been working since she was thirteen years old. is the first feminine worker in Franco. Attired in a workman’s smock, she was lately seen on the building of a Baris newspaper at work as a riveter.
Mdlle. .Mabine likes to sing at her work and is a great favourite among her fellow men workers. She obtained her early training during the war,' she explains, and liking the work, continued with it. until she became an expert structural worker.
