Cuba Street Methodist Church Quarterly Board

The Cuba Street Methodist Church quarterly board met in the Sunday’ school hall on Thursday evening when, 4 tho Rev. J. D. McArthur (superintendent) presided over an attendance of 30 members.

The election of circuit stewards resulted in Mr I'. Coilis bcipg appointed Minister’s circuit steward and Mr A. IL Fisher, financial circuit steward. The Rev. J. D. McArthur made eulogistic reference to the work of the retiring circuit steward, Mr J. Candy.

Mr J. Minton was appointed circuit representative to the annual conference in Dunedin with Mrs C. A. E.

Ferguson as substitute. Mr A. IT. Fisher reported on the recent synod held in Feilding. The meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the ladies for the dainty supper provided.
