Majestic Theatre
“THE RAINBOW MAN” For this week-end an audible feature of outstanding interest is the chosen offering. Eddie Dowling, the famousBroadway star, will be seen in “The Rainbow Man,” a drama of stage life which introduces some popular song hits, including “Sleepy Valley/* “Smile .Little Pal” and “Rainbow Man.” Eddie Dowling, the star, is well known to picture goers, he having starred in a number of silent productions, but this is his first talking picture and lie proves he is the fortunate possessor of a splendid voice which records beautifully. The supporting cast includes some well established favourites in Sam Hardy and Marian Nixon, whilst a child artist, Frankie Darro, is said to give a performance that has never been surpassed by any . child actor. This drama has some verytouching scenes and is delightfully blended with humour and song. It comes to Fcilding with a very high reputation. In this programme is another of those wonderful cartoons of “Micky tho Mouse.” This one is “A Barnyard Concert” and is particularly humorous and laughable.
