Bail For Marriage

When remanded at Gloucester on a charge of larceny by means of a trick, William George Trapp, of Bristol Koad, Gloucester - , asked : “May I have bail, your Worship ? I want to get married to that young lady sitting in Court.” All eyes turned to a good-looking young woman sitting in the front row of the public seats, who blushed under the battery of eyes. In the circumstances the magistrate granted bail and extended tho adjournment of the Court.
