"Inside the Lines” Featuring Betty Compson
From the first foot to the last fadeout, “Insido tho Lines,” Radio Pictures’ all-talking drama, featuring Betty Compsou, which opens at the Palaco Theatre on December 31, is interesting, thrilling and entertaining, according to advance reports. It is not a war picture, but a story of espionage at Gibraltar during the war, being an extraordinarily thrilling adaptation of Earl Derr Bigger’s popular book. Roy Pomeroy, the director, has succeeded in. making the intimation of war more powerful, more pathetic, more gripping than the noisy and awe-inspiring spectacles could. The story is of two lovers, German spies, who meet unexpectedly in. the heart of thhe British fortifications at Gibraltar. They both have been charged with tho task' of blowing up the Gibraltar fleet. Miss Compsou is supported by a cast of English stage and screen stars, including Ralph Forbes, Betty Carter, Ivan Simpson, Montague Love, Reginald Sharlaml, Evan Thomas and Miseha Auer.
