The staff of the Palmerston North Post and Telegraph Department and their friends gathered together on Wednesday evening for another most successful social in tho Foresters’ hall. A strong committee under tho chairmanship of Mr W. Coleman and Mr F. W. Aisher, secretary, worked hard to make the gathering the success it was anti they are to bo congratulated on theiv efforts. During the evening items were contributed by Misses Gray and Cowlisbaw and Messrs Tucker, Jeromson and Hutchins. The club intends holding some more of these functions before the season finishes. Mr Miirchison and Mrs Symonds were the winners of the Monte Carlo waltz. Messrs Aisher and Rosanoski made very efficient M.C.’s while the music of Mr H. Spencer was all that could be desired.
