King Country Motorist Killed
OTOKOHANGA, Aug. 4. . While motoring on Saturday morning along the Tahaia road, about eight miles from Otorohanga, a well-known settler of the King Country, -Georgo Gadsby, aged about 50, was killed as tho result of his car leaving tho road at a sharp corner. It is understood that when coming round the bend tho driver found a cow standing in tho middle of a narrow road, and that while ho was endeavouring to avoid it the car left tho Toad and turned completely over. Deceased was accompanied by his wife, who escaped injury. He was a son of Mr William Gadsby, of Te Kuiti, the well-known Jersey breeder and judge.
