500 DEAD IN EARTHQUAKE ON CASPIAN SEA
400 Injured TWO TOWNS AND MANY VILLAGES DESTROYED United Press Association.—By Electriu Telegraph.—Copyright. Received Monday, Midnight. LONDON, Aug. 4. Moscow reports state that 600 were killed and 4000 injured in an earthquake along the northern and eastern shores of the Caspian Sea, which destroyed the towns of Uritsk and Chapaev and many villages. The Ural river overflowed and flooded Chapaev.
