Ban Removed

“ALL QUIET ON WESTERN FRONT” Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Last Night. The censor’s ban on the film, “A!) Quiet on tho Western Front” has been removed. This decision was arrived at to-day by the Appeal Board which recently upheld tho ruling of the Government film censor (Mr W. A. Tanner), but which after reviewing the picture decided rhat it might bo screened when certain excisions had been made. The board consists of Mr H. M. Gore (chairman), Mrs K. Preston and Mrs E. J. Righton. Tho report is being submitted to the Government by the chairman.
