Hudson “8” Economy Test
Following tho report in Thursday’s Times of the trip from Wellington to Palmerston North of a Hudson S cylin* ueir sedan (sealed in high gear) we have been supplied with tho results as follows: —AYdlington to v Palmerston North, 26.513 miles per gallon; Palmerston North to , AVanganui, 25.704; AVanganui to Hawera, 27.571; Hawera to'Stratford, 23.111; Stratford to' New Plymouth, 30.040. Total miles travelled, 248; total petrol used 74i pints. Average, 26.72 miles per gallon. Average speed 28.949. These figures have all been checked by promimeinit officials in each town. The car leaves on return for AVellingtou to-day arriving there at 4.30 p.m.
